Our Story

Our cabins were built out of a dream to create a space that is both modern and rustic and that blends seamlessly into the surrounding woods without interference to the natural surroundings. Every care was taken to preserve the area with as little disturbance to the landscape as possible. We think you will feel the love for the area that we feel as you settle in and take in the beauty.

Hidden in the back of a cove on picturesque Caney Lake, our cabins provide a tranquil escape into nature. Surrounded by lush trees and serene waters, the location offers a peaceful setting for outdoor adventures and quiet relaxation. When you reach the end of the driveway that winds through the woods, you'll know that you've arrived somewhere special!

ACTIVITIES and ATTRACTIONS

Go to the beach and let the kids play in the splash pad at Jimmy Davis State park just a few minutes away.

Take out the paddle board and get a little exercise while you explore the quiet cove.

Cast a line and go for the elusive lunker bass that made Caney Lake a legendary Largemouth Bass lake.

Take a day trip to play golf at Squire Creek just 35 minutes away. Enjoy the drive and watch out for that one stop light on the way!

Run down to the Marina on Highway 4 and try their incredible cooking. Located just 1.3 miles away.

From fishing and boating on the lake to birdwatching waiting on one of our many owls in the area, there's something for everyone at Hootnhollercabins. Unwind by the fire pit, stargaze at night, or simply curl up with a book enjoy the peace and quiet of nature's embrace.
